This will explain how to find the files you need for any receiver you may own.
First determine what receiver you own. Here you will find that the words "box", "STB", FTA and receiver are used interchangeably. Once you know the brand and model go to that section. From any page in this site, you will find near the top a series of links for all the boxes supported in that section,
Under each brand, you will find a number of models make sure you select the proper model, as for some brands some models are similarly named with an "s" or a "p" added for example. The files are not interchangeable even among the same brand.
Once you have the model right, select either the discussion, files, or how-to section, and this applies to all models. You may post questions only in the discussion or chat section.
Once in the files section you will find all the required files for your box. the most recent will be near the top, and the loaders and factory bins will be stickied at the top. If there are any you need and not found there leave a Quote in the discussion are and we will do our best to find one for you.
With all the files you need, it is strongly suggested to make your way to the tutorial section and read all the info you can before proceeding. You will notice that step by step info is there for you to follow step by step. If you skip steps you will find that things will not work well for you at all.
Three words will make you proficient at flashing your box: Read Read and Read. Then if all else fails, you can post a question in the discussion section. There, start a new thread even if you find a thread with similar info that you require, it is better for you to start a new thread and that way you will get your answer.
When starting a thread please use the following format to post the equipment you have:
Brand of box:_______________________________
Model:_____________________________________
Type of Cable used____________________________
Type of dish(s) you are using:____________________
Which Sats you are pointing at__________________
Then enter your Antenna/Dish Settings for each Satellite:
Type(s) of LNB('s)____________________________
Frequency of LNB_____________________________
TP Frequency:________________________________
Type of switch(es)____________________________
Also indicate what your current S or L and Q signals are for each Sat:
S/L: _____% Q:_____% and what satellite is Locked in:_______
Be specific with your question and include as much info as possible in your first post as to what your problem is.
Please do not ask your questions in the Chat Box.
You may post in the Chat Box that you have posted a question on (Indicate the Receiver Name and Model).
Please help us to try to help you with your questions. The more information that is posted, the sooner that our Staff, Site Assistants and other Members will be able to help you get up and running
Thank you
