Yes many Channels have gone back to being encrypted, However there are still many Channels up, for how long, no one knows.

Sat 118.7W is wide open at the moment as well.

At about 4AM EDT DN Attempted to disable Card Sharing and IKS Systems.

All that happened this time is that they ended up messing up Subs........ so they removed the Encryption so they could fix up their mistake.

Many if not all the PPVs are Encrypted again and as the day passes, more and more Channels are going black for us as they get Encrypted.

So all we can do is hope that they take their time in completing their task of Encrypting and we can enjoy what is open for now.

So, enjoy them while you can everyone.

Many IKS servers may come back on line as they finish reloading the Channels for our viewing pleasures.

The Sonysat Server was reloaded and was up again this evening. Frreze free may I add.

As of earlier this morning, most stand aone channels on 119 and 110 were encrypted again so they are dark for us.

There may be a few Local channels up yet but we suspect that they will be gone soo as well

On a good note:

Anyone pointing at 118.7 you will be happy to know that all Channels are still wide open. So enjoy them as long as they last.

Sonysat Server was back on Line as of last night and all channels that were up before are up again and... Freeze Free.

well bad news standalone STB users:

Looks like the rest of the Open Channels just went down not 5 minutes ago.

Anyone pointing at 118.7 ... all open channels just went down

Sonysat Server was back on Line as of last night and all channels that were up before are up again and... Freeze Free.

there are about 30 Channels up for 118.7 on Sonysat IKS.

Please check for the list in the Channel list Section.

It appears that there are still 20 to 30 Channels open in various parts of the US, coming in on Local Spot Beams.

These Channels are usually found in the higher numbers, the 7000's, 8000's and 9000's.

So if anyone have any none IKS Stbs, just rescan Channels 110 and 119 and see what channels come in for you. For those able to get them, picture will be there as these Channels are not encrypted and wide open for the time being.

I just checked on my Sonysat DCR 5500 and there are still many CHannels wide open in the 7000's to 8000's.

Please check out the Sonysat Channels List in the Channel List Section, the ones marked with * are wide open

Just a reminder that these Open Channels may be open but they are Local Channels for say NY or some other Cities across the US......they are local for them. Now the Station ID may be correct but for the rest of us they may come in as ION.......

Check these Open Channels during the day and you may notice different Channels then they appear in the evening.

Again, we do not know how long they may remain open so all we can do is to enjoy them while we can.

Just noticed this thread was still open.

All channels that were still open have been encrypted back for a few months.. so the only open Channels are the Free Ones.
